The biggest piece of advice we can give is... don't worry too much.

Children don't need to perform.

We've photographed enough families to know that every child settles in their own time. That's why we don't rush sessions. We'd much rather spend a few extra minutes chatting, playing or letting children explore than trying to force smiles that don't feel genuine.

Those authentic moments almost always become our clients' favourite photographs.
